In March, REGROUP partnered with the DMAD to host an agency showcase in our office. Our client, Colin Kennedy of DTE, and Creative Director Ryan Swartz, presented an interesting review of how our spot “Resourceful” was a true combination of delivering both brand messaging and lead generation.

Rather than create a typical show-and-tell spot usually used by many companies for activation, we showcased an emotive, real-life scenario that presented DTE as an accessible ally for those looking for ways to achieve a goal. In the spot, we told a story of how DTE helps customers make small changes to lower their bills and save money – money they can use for other things.

The response has been rewarding. Ipsos research showed that 74% of people who saw the spot said they were more likely to visit DTE’s website. And proves that brand and performance can co-exist in messaging and attract more customers.
