To increase visibility of the agency and add revenue by creating sustainable, mutually beneficial relationships with agency prospects while supporting the SVP on agency marketing efforts.


  • On going cultivation of prospects
  • Sales results
  • Documentation of sales activities on Workamajig
  • Quality of prospects brought forth
  • Inbound marketing and event prospecting
  • Oversight of agency marketing plan, including content calendar management, awards submissions and speaking events for agency leadership


Agency Growth and New Business practice operations

  • Business development process to help achieve agency growth goals
  • New business acquisition together with the business development team
    • Identification and solicitation of prospects
    • Development and presentation of proposals
    • Structuring of the service and compensation relationship
  • Listening to activities of prospects, Google alerts etc.
  • Maintaining connection with inactive prospects
  • Conduct preliminary prospect/ category research
  • Prospect calls and communication
  • Coordination of internal prospect team

Agency Marketing

  • Agency marketing budget and activities, inbound and outbound
  • Management of content marketing and thought leadership calendar (email, website and social media)
  • Attending relevant events
  • Securing speaking/sponsorship opportunities
  • Partnership and networking opportunities
  • Management of agency CRM system

Performance Metrics:

Establish and achieve the following performance measures:

  • New client revenue growth
  • Increase networking events, speaking opportunities, PR opportunities
  • Create new business opportunities
  • Boost marketing measures and KPIs in accordance with marketing plan



  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or Business


  • 10+ years marketing and/or sales experience with an agency 
  • Understanding of branding, marketing, finance and business processes
  • Familiarity with traditional and digital media channels including direct marketing, mobile, SEO, SEM, social media and PR
  • Comfortable interpreting data into meaningful insights


  • Team player
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Entrepreneurial, resourceful, and creative
  • Excellent presentation and writing skills
  • Able to foster solid personal relationships
  • Well networked and adept at social communications tools
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • MS Office proficiency
