The Media Assistant will work closely with the media team on tasks such as obtaining and analyzing media (both digital and traditional), using media software to place orders and track performance, executing various administrative duties, and developing and maintaining strong relationships with media outlets.

Accountabilities:

  • Assist in managing digital assets through REGROUP systems for ad operations/traffic/execution
  • Assist in managing digital tagging and tracking through REGROUP systems for campaign optimization and reporting
  • Assist with data collection of digital campaign performance and auditing reporting documents/dashboard for accuracy
  • Assist with maintaining accurate & timely paid media invoice reconciliation
  • Ability to meet all communicated deadlines and timely completion of projects
  • Maintain strong relationships with media vendors
  • Support arm for all media department members

Tasks:

  • Support media team with development, execution and monitoring of media plans
  • Review reporting dashboards for accuracy
  • Upload creative in ad server software, QA creative implementation, verify measurement configurations/pull requisite reports to confirm proper activation
  • Implement any necessary creative messaging swaps as needed
  • Generate and implement all measurement instruments, including but not limited to conversion pixels, container (or other) tags, and impression/click trackers
  • Provide creative assets and tags to external vendors as needed
  • Contact vendors as needed to secure missing invoices and work through discrepancies
  • Assist with reconciliation of monthly Media Department credit card statement
  • Enter media schedules and invoices into FreeWheel/STRATA
  • Assist Media Director and Senior Digital Campaign Manager with creation of media estimates for both Finance & Account teams
  • Ad hoc projects as necessary

PERFORMANCE METRICS:

  • Work with media team to have all digital media invoices input, cleared and billed within 10 business days of receipt
  • Work with media team to submit reconciled monthly Media Department credit card statement to Finance Department within five business days of receipt
  • Timeliness, accuracy and overall excellence of tasks
  • Work collaboratively with media team and the whole organization

Qualifications:

Experience

  • 1 to 3 years of media experience are preferred, but not required
  • Basic understanding of traditional media sources (TV, radio, print, OOH)
  • Basic understanding of search engine marketing (Google Ads) and programmatic buying
  • Basic understanding of social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube)
  • Experience with Workamajig desired but not required
  • Experience with FreeWheel/STRATA desired but not required
