The Billing Coordinator will serve as a liaison between the Media and Finance departments for media invoicing and reporting tasks. The Billing Coordinator will work closely with the media team and finance to oversee and facilitate all media billing and invoice reconciliation, while also developing and maintaining strong relationships with media outlets. The Billing Coordinator will work under the supervision of the Integrated Media Director.

Accountabilities:

  • Accurate & timely paid media invoice collection and payment process
  • Strong relationships with media vendors
  • Media/Finance liaison

TASKS:

  • Handle all media billing and invoice reconciliation in SBMS/Workamajig
  • Maintain outstanding media invoice report
  • Contact vendors as needed to secure missing invoices
  • Follow up with vendors as needed regarding any billing statement discrepancies
  • Provide Finance with copies of all media invoices
  • Route invoices though reconciliation and billing process
  • Ad hoc projects as necessary

PERFORMANCE METRICS:

  • Collect all media invoices within 30 days of run date
  • Work with media team to have all media invoices input in SBMS, cleared, and billed to Workamajig within 10 business days of receipt
  • Establish and maintain client and vendor satisfaction

Qualifications:

Education

  • Associates degree required

Experience

  • 0 to 2 years of media, billing, finance, or accounting experience is preferred, but not required
  • Basic understanding of traditional (TV, radio, print, OOH) and digital (social media, paid search, programmatic banners) media sources desired, but not required
  • Experience with SBMS/Workamajig desired, but not required
