Our Client Services team serves as the first line of contact with our clients. They identify client needs and work strategically to provide thoughtful solutions with measurable results. The Account Director has strong communication, strategic, leadership, and problem-solving skills plus, a proven track record of developing/maintaining positive client and agency team relationships.

As the connector between clients, partners, and the agency, everyone in Account Management is required to be hyper-adaptable and flexible, passionately selling through a campaign, mediating between different points of view, having tough conversations for the good of the relationship and work — and, of course, being a kind person people always want to have in the room. You will be expected to be the persuasive, resilient, and relentless force it takes to help great work get made, combining sharp points of view on both business and creativity.

Accountabilities:

  • Satisfaction and retention of clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct a set of accounts ensuring the quality of delivery, high client satisfaction, profitability, and financial growth.
  • Act as a connector, with the ability to see across the business and elevate tactics to strategic opportunities and guide clients to better, bigger outcomes based on their marketing and business strategies.
  • Develop strategic plans that will grow client business and generate incremental billings and income.
  • Plan and strategize at a senior level. Able to uncover pain points and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to develop strategies for multiple-channel projects, help shape the work, and how our team delivers on it.
  • Ensure work, processes, and initiatives are being managed and moving forward to client expectations.
  • Fuel other capability’s work with insights, POVs, ideas, and constructive evaluation of internal work.
  • Active participant in managing creative reviews (internally and with clients).
  • Participate in new business including proposal writing and pitches. Manage client and internal expectations around schedules, feedback, and next steps to drive projects forward.
  • Run client meetings; organize the flow for best presentation, desired results, etc.
  • Ability to organize and compellingly present information.
  • Development and management of budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure seamless client/agency communications through regular team meetings; appropriate strategy documents/briefs; conference and status reports; monthly or quarterly performance reports; and annual client evaluations.
  • Oversee internal creative, digital and social media assignments to ensure they are on strategy and meet objectives.

Qualifications:


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree

Experience

  • 10 years of experience in client services/account management in an advertising agency, marketing company, or client-side marketing department with a working knowledge of:
    • Relationship/Client management
    • Account planning, social media, and strategy
    • Online and offline creative development and production
    • Digital marketing
    • Multichannel/Integrated marketing
    • Campaign management
    • Understanding of data analytics for multi-channel results analysis
  • Experience servicing Healthcare, Franchise, and Finacial Services clients a plus
  • Expertise in developing and executing holistic marketing solutions for companies at a national, regional, and/or local level.
  • Ability to research, profile and define marketing strategies for both B2B and B2C communications.
  • Understanding of data and analysis, establishing performance metrics and interpreting results into meaningful insights.
