Social Media Director
Taylor leads the re:group team in social media, developing social media strategies for both B2B and B2C clients. Her duties vary from client to client, but she can usually be found doing anything from conducting a competitive audit, putting together a social media risk assessment, creating a social media policy, monitoring brand and competitive keywords, devising a strategy, developing content, managing online communities or analyzing performance analytics.
Taylor began her career in traditional public relations, where she managed PR for an Ann Arbor music startup called MyBandStock before jumping into agency life at Identity Marketing & Public Relations. Finding a knack for digital, Taylor quickly found her calling in social media, where she helped to establish the firm’s social media department, working with clients as large as Verizon Wireless to small investment companies like CitrinGroup.
At re:group, Taylor has been responsible for developing a comprehensive social media strategy for the agency’s different audiences, managing the company’s Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Pinterest accounts, while encouraging agency-wide content input and production. She has also been busy developing social media strategies for complex multi-unit organizations like Goldfish Swim School and consulting on the creative integration of social media into advertising campaigns with companies like HealthPlus of Michigan and DTE Energy.
Taylor is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a BA in Communication Studies.
