Technically, we’re an integrated, full service branding and communications company based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. We’re a group of smart, talented people from big agencies and small ones, who work here because we like Ann Arbor and each other.

Philosophically, we’re a strategic partner, a collaborator to help you achieve your goal, whether its rallying your internal audience or building your bottom line. Our holistic, unbiased approach means we examine everything from all angles, and use any or all of the tools out there to build plans that will get you where you want to go.

We believe in brand experience management. Because we know that every consumer touchpoint is a place that can be transformative, and that managing every interface well will grow your brand.

We like objectives. We especially like to achieve them. That’s why we like relationships built on mutual respect and access to information. And just as we expect you to carefully consider our expert opinions, we expect – and welcome – your input as well.

Where we came from…
A few years back, we were the branding and marketing communications arm of a huge international design firm. But after surviving mergers, acquisitions, bad decisions and big agency politics, we’d had it. So in 2001, we, well, re-grouped, and bought ourselves out.

The back-back story is that Jan Muhleman (our CEO) started an agency called Group 243 in 1974, and helped a little pizza company called Domino’s Pizza grow from 85 to 5500 units. Through buyouts, mergers, sales, etc, she kept her cool and a loyal crew together. She’s still at the helm, and still committed to helping businesses go from miniscule to mammoth, or anywhere in between.
